My signature fluffy, delicious, french toast bites... especially good using homemade bread!
Ingredients:
2-3 slices of bread (thick)
2 eggs
1/4 cup of milk
1/4 cup white sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions:
Cut the slices of bread into small cube shapes (optional: cut off the crust for a cleaner look)
Combine 2 eggs, 1/4 cup of milk and 1 tbsp of white sugar.
Dip the small bread cubes into the egg mixture.
Pan fry the the toast cubes on a well oiled pan until golden brown
Whilst the bread is cooking, combine the remaining amount of sugar and cinnamon in a wide-rimmed bowl
Once cooked, coat the bread cubes in the cinnamon sugar.
Serve with maple syrup and/or powdered sugar; enjoy!
